Assigning students to a lesson and editing the AI summary

Pick which of your students can see a lesson, and clean up the AI-written summary before it goes live.

After recording or uploading a lesson (see Recording a lesson in the app and Uploading a pre-recorded lesson), two things need your attention before students see it: the roster, and the AI write-up.

Roster — open the lesson and add students from a search of your own existing students. Lessons don't send a separate email invite the way classes do; you can only add students who are already yours, so make sure they're in My Students first.

AI summary — once processing finishes, PickleCraft automatically writes a title, a summary, and a set of coaching goals from the session's transcript. You can rewrite any of these before students see them, either to fix something the AI got wrong or to add detail it missed.

One detail worth knowing: the lesson and its video recording have independent publish statuses. Publishing the lesson doesn't automatically publish the recording, and vice versa — check both if you want a student to see the full lesson, video, and summary together. See Draft vs. published: how content becomes visible.

Available to coaches and club admins.
